Install Shoppable Video with Google Tag Manager
Deploy the beyondRegular embed through a GTM Custom HTML tag when your team prefers tag-managed storefront scripts.
Google Tag Manager can deploy the beyondRegular storefront embed as a Custom HTML tag. This is useful when your ecommerce team manages marketing scripts through GTM instead of editing theme files. The widget still renders on your store and checkout still runs through your existing cart and payment gateway.
Install on Google Tag Manager
- 1Create a beyondRegular preset and copy the embed code for that preset.
- 2In Google Tag Manager, create a Custom HTML tag with the embed script and mount element.
- 3Set a trigger for the page type where the widget should appear, such as a product page or landing page.
- 4Preview the container, confirm the widget renders, then publish the GTM version.

Should I install through GTM or directly in the theme?
Use GTM if your team already governs storefront scripts there and can test triggers carefully. Use the theme or app embed path when you want the widget tied to a specific template and controlled by the ecommerce admin.
Will GTM change Shopify or Razorpay checkout tracking?
No. GTM only controls how the storefront script is deployed. Checkout and payment remain separate. On Shopify, revenue attribution for beyondRegular uses the Shopify web pixel on supported plans.
