How to Add Shoppable Video to a Shopify Product Page
A step-by-step guide to adding tappable, shoppable video to your Shopify product pages with no code, with prices in INR for Indian stores.
To add shoppable video to a Shopify product page, install a shoppable video app, enable its theme app embed, place the video block on your product template, then import a clip and tag the products in it. The block goes live on save, and tagged prices pull from your catalogue, so Indian shoppers see INR automatically.
What you need first
A Shopify store on an Online Store 2.0 theme (most themes from the last few years qualify) and a short product video. The clip can be one you already posted on Instagram or TikTok, an upload, or a customer video.
You do not need a developer. The theme app embed adds the widget through Shopify's own customiser, so there is no theme code to edit.
The steps
Install beyondRegular from the Shopify App Store and open the embedded admin. Import or upload your video and tag the products shown in the frame.
In Online Store, Themes, Customize, App embeds, enable the beyondRegular embed. Add the widget block to your product template where you want it, usually below the gallery or near the add-to-cart button.
Save. The widget is live. Shoppers tap a hotspot, see the price, and add to cart without leaving the video.
Will it slow the page down
A well built widget streams the video from a CDN and lazy-loads, so it starts almost instantly and does not block the page. Check the embed weight before you commit to any tool, because a heavy script is the difference between a fast page and a slow one.
Common questions
Does this work with Razorpay or CCAvenue on Shopify?
Yes. The widget sits on your storefront and drives shoppers to the cart. Checkout still runs through whatever gateway your store uses, including Razorpay, PayU, CCAvenue, or Cashfree. Revenue attribution uses the Shopify web pixel, which fires after any checkout regardless of gateway.
Do shoppers see INR prices inside the video?
Yes. Tagged product prices are pulled from your Shopify catalogue, so customers see the same INR price the product page shows. The widget does not change or override your store's currency settings.
